My time in Jena is split between being a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Economics (2008-2014) and working for Oliver Kirchkamp's chair in Empirical and Experimental Economics at the University of Jena (2006-2008, 2014 till now). Since 2016, I work on my DFG-funded research project.
The two years prior to my Jena time I did a post-doc at Imperial College London. I worked as a research associate in two EU-funded projects of the 6th framework programme: TIRAMISU and DANAE.
From 2001 to 2004 I did my PhD at the University of Bristol's Economics department. My thesis is titled "The Economics of Information Goods - A Contract Theory Analysis" and was supervised by Maija Halonen-Akatwijuka.
I spent an ERASMUS exchange semester at Università Ca Foscari in Venice, while I studied economics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München where I graduated as Diplom-Volkswirt in 1999.
